Looking at the mountains of equipment boxes piled up in the campsite, Yvonne gritted her teeth and pulled out her mobile phone to make a call.
After she relayed the situation, the person on the other end of the line pondered for a moment, then finally said,
"Wait for me to come over."
Yvonne let out a sigh of relief and hung up the phone.
If they took it seriously, then this matter was essentially settled.
However, she hoped they would arrive quickly.
This was, in fact, a breach of protocol for her and was already crossing a line.
Yvonne didn't want to return to Small Town either, so she simply found a spot to sit down and wait.
Half an hour later, a commotion came from the direction of the highway leading to Small Town.
