Sedding watched as Sean Knight and his team headed deeper into the forest. Although he wanted to follow, the sharp gaze of the remaining team members made him think twice.
Of course, he had to get even. Those losses needed to be recouped!
He glanced at the convoy, then back at the departing Sean Knight and his group, his eyes twinkling with a sudden idea.
Hmph! Tricked me, they did. They won't have it easy either!
Driving the pickup truck, he smiled and nodded to the few remaining team members and then drove off.
"This guy is quite polite, huh?" a young team member said, watching the pickup truck disappearing into the distance.
"A smiling tiger. Who knows what evil he's brewing inside!" a seasoned team member disdainfully replied.
"Should we inform the boss?"
"No need. As cunning as they are, they wouldn't dare trick our boss...Our boss," the veteran's voice dropped to a whisper, "is something else. Those eyes can see through anything!"
