"That's all I have!" the woman said with a sob in her voice, knowing she couldn't possibly beat her opponent.
And now was her only chance.
"Surely you're not the only person in your tribe," Sean Knight laughed.
He began to absorb the spiritual energy from the scepter.
The energy inside wasn't abundant, but with Sean's current abilities, it would only take a few minutes to absorb completely.
"Don't..." the woman suddenly cried out in pain.
Sean stopped what he was doing.
Could the woman actually sense the spiritual energy within the scepter decreasing?
He noticed when he stopped absorbing the energy, the woman's pained expression disappeared.
