Additionally, there were two special rooms. One room was filled with beautiful shells of roughly the same size. Another was filled with palm-sized golden bars that were irregular, likely processed.
Sean Knight speculated that this must be the official warehouse of the underground city, and when its people left, these items were either abandoned or forgotten.
He removed the Stone Door, took everything from the warehouse, and carried it all away.
The absence of food meant that those who left had taken all the edibles with them.
Food, to them, was the most important thing.
Leaving the warehouse, Sean Knight continued to descend further. The scent in the air grew increasingly moist; he guessed he was nearing a subterranean river or lake.
Along the way, the main road was lined with glowing stones, in varying amounts. However, the light was dim, but here it suddenly became bright!
Sean Knight hastened his pace.
