Seeing so much gold and gemstones, everyone, including Cheryl Suweton and Elijah Hastings, was extremely excited.
Only the captain's eyes were unfocused and seemed lost in thought after his initial shock, unsure of what he was thinking.
"Stop looking and start sorting out the items into boxes. We've had a good haul this time, everyone gets a bonus!"
"Thank you, boss!" Douglas Cooper shouted, taking the lead.
"Let's keep track for our own people first." Sean Knight watched as the team members packed up, then he said to Elijah Hastings, "Here's 20,000 dollars; you take 10,000 to the ship owner and divide the rest among the other sailors. To prevent them from getting envious."
Elijah Hastings nodded and took the money to find the ship owner.
Sure enough, the ship owner and a few sailors were discussing something in the ship's cabin. Although they couldn't understand the local language, it was clear they weren't saying anything nice.
