Several people spread out, keeping a distance of ten to twenty meters between them to avoid tangling the ropes.
They had already searched around the statue and found nothing new. Now the depth beneath the lake surface was not consistently deep; this area was about the same depth as the area near the statue, twenty to thirty meters, which wasn't too deep. So, when they dived down, they didn't feel much pressure and the surroundings weren't completely black.
Sean Knight had activated his Sky Eye and scanned the surroundings but did not spot that big fellow, so he began to search the area, looking down.
He had basically confirmed that this ancient ruin site was extremely old, so much so that nearly all the buildings had been leveled by the lake water.
Only cumbersome stone structures like the giant stone statues and giant stone city walls remained. Of course, it was possible that other stone buildings existed in deeper areas, which would require bit by bit searching.
