Although it was getting late, there were still many people coming and going on the pier, with some trucks loading or unloading items onto the boat.
Sean Knight and Elijah Hastings quickly made their way to the cargo ship.
To Sean's surprise, the two local guards watching over the cargo ship didn't check their documents; after a glance at their faces, they let them aboard!
This was grossly negligent!
"It seems these guys are in a rush, now they don't even have the manpower to arrange guards," Sean whispered to Elijah as they boarded, "Next, we'll split up. You go find those Japanese and see if you can shake something loose. I'll take a look around the ship and see if I can keep it from sailing."
The two men then split up and headed in different directions.
