As he spoke, he pulled a small bag from his pocket and swayed it in front of Elijah Hastings, saying,
"Although I didn't master it very well, I should at least be able to knock these two out, right?"
Sean Knight looked up to find an upwind position, then untied the mouth of the bag and tossed a handful of that flower powder into the air.
Elijah Hastings immediately held his breath, then listened as Sean Knight began to talk in a somewhat confusing tone.
The two monks first smelled the scent, looked puzzled, searched for the source of the fragrance, and then they heard a faint voice. Before they could react, they grew drowsy and collapsed.
Sean Knight chanted a few more phrases, saw that the two really had no reaction, then stopped talking and gave Elijah Hastings an "OK" gesture.
Elijah Hastings returned a thumbs up, and then the two of them sneaked into the pagoda forest.
