With an energy boost, Elijah Hastings only needed a brief rest before he returned to normal.
Douglas Cooper had already arrived with his gun by their side as Elijah recounted his recent encounter to Sean Knight.
"...When I got here and saw the scene of those temples in the distance, I knew I had found the place. Just as I was about to send a signal, I saw a monk walking towards me..."
Thinking back on the scene still left Elijah full of trepidation:
"Seeing the monk approaching, I thought it was better to ask him about the Temple and then send the signal. The monk looked quite thin, and he didn't move very fast. As he walked over, I went up to him to ask about the Temple, but I didn't expect that..."
Elijah paused, his eyes fleeting with confusion, then said:
