After they entered the Courtyard, Lincoln Harrington and others propped the fallen door up at the Entrance and stuffed the gaps with straw, finally isolating themselves from the snakes.
Although occasionally snakes still slithered past, they ultimately headed towards the Courtyard where they had previously stayed, paying little attention to them now.
Sean Knight sat down with a thud, his expression finally no longer so tense.
Meanwhile, Elijah Hastings and his companions were carefully searching the Courtyard before reporting to Sean Knight:
"Boss, no snakes were found."
"The gaps are all blocked off, so it's basically safe."
"We've spread antiscolic all around the Surrounding Wall, ensuring that snakes and insects won't come over."
The three individuals each took charge of their duties, which gave the other three, aside from Sean Knight, various thoughts.
