I must say, New Delhi is a magical city. Many people here seem to have an inexplicable self-confidence.
Haruda Tomoko seemed quite familiar with the place, as she led Sean Knight and the others to a reasonably authentic Western restaurant. The dining process was uneventful, but when it came time to pay, a manager came over and said:
"You're from China, right? You can't find such authentic Western food in China, can you?"
Alright, just this one sentence directly provoked some animosity.
Sean Knight and his group weren't so petty. After giving a disdainful glance to the inexperienced manager, they left.
This was just a small interlude and didn't really affect their mood. After all, they had seen too many oddities online, and encountering a few in real life wasn't a big deal.
That night, returning to the hotel, Cheryl Suweton came to James Ross's room, intending for a deeper exchange, when there was a knock at the door.
It was Haruda Tomoko.
