The driver, however, didn't get out of the car but waved his hand and said,
"I have to rush back, so I won't stay, goodbye!"
He waved to Sean Knight again, then drove off.
Sean Knight didn't stop him. When he had gotten out of the car earlier, he had left a cigarette on the seat as a thank-you gift.
Upon entering the house, the family chatted and laughed. After Sean Knight washed his hands, his mother had already brought over the Xinjiang noodles.
As he enjoyed the noodles his mother made, Sean Knight said,
"I couldn't eat well over in Japan, I've been longing for this taste."
Nancy Knight said with a smile, "Then stay at Home more. I'll make them for you every day!"
Isaac Thompson said, "Could you eat it every day? Two days is enough. Besides, Sean is so busy now; there must be so much work waiting for him on the island."
Last time when the family returned from the island, Sean Knight wasn't there. While eating, he asked,
"How was your time on the island?"
