"York, aren't you going to let them in? Come in and then we can catch up!"
The woman's voice rang out inside the courtyard, and York Howard quickly said:
"Right, right, come inside to talk."
Several people entered the courtyard, and York Howard took items from Elijah Hastings's hands, laughing as he said:
"Bennett, I heard you got married? Why didn't you bring your wife over for a visit? That's not very brotherly of you!"
Sean Knight could tell that York Howard was genuinely happy about their arrival.
He turned to Rou Johnson with a smile and said:
"How's the sister-in-law! You must be due soon, right?"
Lana Brown nudged him, indicating that his question was a bit abrupt.
York Howard laughed heartily:
"No worries, no worries. Sean and I are like brothers; it's a question that can be asked."
