Sean Knight slowly descended into the deep pit, where there were quite a few footprints of wild animals, which made it easier for them to go down.
Just as they were about to reach the bottom of the pit, Sean edged sideways and then went into a relatively concealed cave on the side.
"This place used to be a nest for crocodiles, or something similar," Sean said as he bent down and touched the ground, "but later on, the river channel probably dried up and the crocodiles either moved away or escaped, leaving this place empty."
Elijah Hastings and Douglas Cooper immediately followed suit.
"There's... nothing to see here!"
Douglas looked around, the hole slanted downwards, about two meters deep and one and a half meters high. It smelled foul, but there was nothing else.
"Don't worry, just wait and see!" Sean smiled, then walked to the bottom of the pit. Suddenly, he stomped hard on the ground.
