Alex Young seemed to really be at odds with Sean Knight, raising his hand to bid:
"Fifty-five million dollars!"
At this point, others could see that the two Chinese bidders were competing against each other!
Many people were watching the two with amusement.
Mike Whitmore was slightly displeased.
As Sean Knight had provided two precious paintings, he only bid for things he really wanted during the auction, never carelessly raising prices.
Compared to Alex, who made high opening bids yet could hardly maintain them, Mike admired Sean's approach much more.
Therefore, Mike was not happy with the two of them raising the price - mainly because of Alex's showy attitude.
However, as the bidding price rose, Alex began to feel the pressure.
"Fifty million dollars!"
Sean didn't seem to care about the rising price at all. He knew that, regardless of the outcome, he would make a huge profit today.
