Perhaps because her life was getting better, Freya appeared much healthier and more attractive than before.
In the past, Sean Knight didn't think black girls were aesthetically pleasing to him.
But after watching some Hollywood movies, he found that some of them were actually quite nice.
Freya now seemed just as good as those Hollywood actresses, and even had a better temperament - that girl-next-door vibe.
"Hello, Mr. Knight!" Seeing Sean get out of the car, Freya shyly greeted him, nodded at Douglas Cooper, and then hurried back into the kitchen.
Like a timid deer.
"Boss," Douglas felt hurt. "I'm not bad-looking either, why am I treated so differently?"
"We've known each other longer." Sean simply let it be with a smile.
Once inside the room, Jason called his two younger brothers to say hello to Sean.
Sean still remembered these two black boys, who were a little taller now but still a bit shy in front of him. After greeting him, they went to the back.
