"Boss, don't go back there. Just stay here. It's more convenient than going back to our county town."
"Alright." Sean Knight nodded, "About the room..."
"I know someone who can help with that. I'll just make a phone call." Douglas Cooper eagerly said.
Sean noticed that Douglas didn't want to go home at all, so he didn't force him and directly booked a room nearby.
The second day, Elijah Hastings arrived.
Sean was surprised. After Elijah checked in, Sean went to his room.
"You're here just in time."
"I heard from Douglas that you guys are going to set sail tomorrow, so I rushed over." Elijah said while unpacking his things.
"Your wife doesn't mind?"
"No. After this trip is over, I'll take her on a vacation." Elijah said with a smile, "She's really looking forward to it."
"Well, you married a good wife."
"You bet!" Elijah said proudly.
During dinner, Douglas received a phone call. He checked the number and left with a gloomy face.
