Before Sean could dial, his mobile phone rang.
"Are you there?" The gloomy voice on the other end made Sean feel uncomfortable.
"We're here. Where are you? How's my brother now?" Sean asked.
"Did you bring the money?"
"Yes."
"Looking at your backpacks, they can't fit five million dollars."
"We brought some gold. US dollars in cash are hard to store, and it's too hard to pass through customs." Sean had already thought of a reason. "We're carrying a million dollars in cash in our bags, and tens of kilograms of gold."
"Alright, now walk fifty meters ahead from the highway, there's a small road leading up the mountain."
The other party was apparently at a high point, able to see Sean and his group, and was directing them.
Sean and the others were not unprepared, Elijah and Douglas both moved around Sean in small, irregular steps to block any potential bullets.
Meanwhile, Sean himself unleashed his senses, searching for any possible danger.
