The second day had barely dawned when a scream shattered the tranquility of the small town.
Sanitation workers in the town discovered Klaus and his companion, bound hands hanging from a street lamp pole, with their mouths taped shut.
Hearing the scream, people hurried over, wanting to help.
When they saw it was Klaus and his companion, they slowed down, pointed and whispered, then retreated.
They saw the words written in red paint on the two men:
"Car Thieves!"
The sun gradually rose, and batch after batch of people rushed to watch. By the time Jerry Sullivan came to rescue Klaus, they had both passed out.
Jerry knew who did it but could not show his anger. He had no choice but to take his men away.
In the hotel, Sean Knight and the others ate the food brought by Maggie.
