"They probably won't suspect it's us." Takeuchi Meiko had no idea to what extent the port police's integrity might be compromised. In her view, since they had paid and reported the situation, even if the police didn't extort Sean Knight and his friends, at least they wouldn't expose themselves.
That afternoon, Sean Knight and his friends "ran into" Takeuchi Meiko by chance. Nobita Ichinann and the other man were not present. Meiko was dragging a big bag into the hotel, and Sean and his group happened to be leaving at the same time. They then shared a gaze with Meiko's pitiful eyes.
"Miss Meiko, you bought so many things?" Sean greeted with a smile.
