Seeing that the other two held the same view, Sean Knight chuckled before saying,
"Alright, three hundred thousand dollars each. We'll settle for that."
With laughter resounding among Elijah Hastings and the others, it was evident that this was already a considerable amount.
They packed the gold back into the box and placed it in a sturdy handwoven bag. Sean Knight planned to take it back to the hotel after daybreak.
With their newfound fortune, the three friends became excited. Even if they wanted to sleep, they couldn't. Instead, they took turns diving for fun.
Sean Knight didn't join them, preferring to stay on the yacht and tinker with the box and tools.
