There was no need to ask about the deposit, they certainly wouldn't know anything about that.
"Alright then." Sean Knight thought for a moment, and asked:
"Do you know anyone domestically associated with this? Once we take down Edward Tomlinson, we need a reliable person to reclaim this money, right?"
As soon as he said this, Elijah Hastings and the others' gazes towards him instantly changed.
Sean asked in confusion:
"What's the matter? Is there something wrong with what I said?"
Lincoln Harrington answered honestly:
"We thought you'd take the money for yourself after taking care of him..."
"I'd like to," Sean chuckled. "But I'm afraid I'd have nightmares if I took this money."
The three men's gazes changed again.
Sean wasn't a great man. He had desires and ideas, but he knew what he should and shouldn't do.
