Playing into his own hands?
Some people didn't know Sean Knight and thought he wanted to pick up a bargain, laughing mockingly.
Sean ignored the thoughts of others and waited for someone to bid higher.
Sure enough, someone made an offer:
"600 dollars!"
The auctioneer saw the doubled bid and immediately perked up with his invariant tone fluctuating for a moment, his voice increased significantly, the unique relentless bidding sound:
"600 dollars, 600 dollars, this gentleman bids 600 dollars, is there anyone increasing the bid, any more any more for 600 dollars...."
"One thousand dollars!" Sean felt like it was his lucky day today.
His bid once again attracted everyone's attention.
No matter if he was bidding for his own family or not, eventually passing a thousand dollars, since he dared to shout, some people thought there must be something inside.
