That night Joanna had to go home and couldn't come over, so Sean Knight went to bed early.
The next day after having breakfast, Kathy Lewis said to Sean:
"Sir, I'm going to make a call to inquire about the crystal matter."
Kathy is always polite as usual, and Sean nodded, already used to it.
Of course, she always received a handsome bonus for every service, Sean didn't want such a useful butler to become a mere tool after exhausting his uncle's favor.
In the morning, Joanna had classes, Elijah and his team were busy at the freight yard, and Sean decided not to go out and read in the study room instead.
He used to read mainstream books; therefore, his values are quite stable and follow mainstream beliefs too. When he came to America, he opened his eyes and discovered how naive many Chinese people were and that there is all kind of people here. Their moral limit could be quite low.
Of course, there are also those who strive to become saints.
Both extremes.
