The door stood open as Luke Paris led the way, commenting as they went:
"I discovered this was the first hideout of those robbers at the time. But later they felt it was unsafe as there were too many people coming and going, so they changed their location."
"You found out?" Sean Knight curiously asked, "Did the police find out at the time?"
"No." Luke Paris replied, somewhat smugly, "The police were mainly focused on investigating the scene of the shootout. With the case causing quite the stir, the higher-ups wanted to close it quickly, so a lot of things were overlooked. And those who wanted to look further had no way to do so later."
Hearing this, Sean Knight started to question the situation of the time.
Why were they insistent on closing the case so quickly? Could there be some trickery involved?
