Sean knew it was his turn. He walked around the stone platform twice, looked around, looked down at the platform, and finally came to a corner. Then he told Elijah and Lincoln:
"Come and help me move this stone!"
Looking at the ordinary-looking stone, no one would think there was anything special about it.
But when Sean spoke, Elijah and Lincoln immediately went over, took a shovel from their backpacks, and helped pry the stone up.
The other people gathered around.
Underneath the stone was a smaller one embedded among the others, which didn't seem special either.
But no one disturbed Sean's actions.
He continued to pry open the smaller stone and then saw an iron ring underneath it.
Sean said to the others:
"Stand aside!"
By this time, no one doubted Sean.
Seeing that everyone had stepped aside, he pulled the iron ring in a circle.
The stone in the center of the platform suddenly sank, revealing downward stairs.
