Hans was eager to go and take a look, but Sean Knight disagreed:
"There's less than an hour before nightfall. Going there now, we might not find anything.
Moreover, that place is too conspicuous. If there's any danger, we won't have anywhere to hide."
Jason also agreed, saying:
"Mr. Hans, I think it's better for us to camp here. I still have to go back to find Wilson and bring Green over."
Hans reluctantly nodded in agreement.
Jason immediately dropped his backpack and quickly returned to search for his teammate.
Elijah Hastings cooked some meat porridge with the leftovers from lunch.
The others prepared a place to rest.
After eating, Hans leaned against a big tree and stared in the direction of the vacant land, not saying a word.
Sean felt that the coming days would be uneasy, so he whispered to Elijah and Lincoln Harrington:
"Stay alert tonight, I feel that this place isn't safe."
Elijah and Lincoln nodded in unison.
