Mr. John sent Sean Knight and Hans Hunter to the table to discuss the matter while he leisurely wiped wine glasses, clearly not interested in getting involved with the treasure hunting business.
With Mr. John's attitude clear, Hans sighed as he sat at the table and said:
"Actually, Mr. John was once a pretty good treasure hunter. I wanted to ask for his help, but he refused before I could even open my mouth."
Sean was surprised. Mr. John is a treasure hunter too?
Never would have guessed.
Hans grabbed a beer and drank it before continuing:
"You see, I'm not originally from New York. I moved here when I was in my twenties.
My father was a treasure hunter. Although he never found any world-shaking treasures, our family lived comfortably.
The last treasure hunt my father embarked on was to find the lost Maya treasure in the Amazon Jungle.
At that time, my mother was seriously ill, and my father hoped to find the treasure and make enough money to cure her.
