Listening to Joanna's jealous voice on the phone asking whether Sean had gone to New York University and whether he had flirted with a blonde beauty, Sean couldn't help but laugh.
Hearing Sean's laughter, Joanna became a bit angry:

Sean quickly apologized:
"I'm sorry, dear. I just laughed because I detected some jealousy in your tone, and it made me happy that you care so much about me.
