Sean Knight had a favorable opinion of Evelyn Taylor. So when she came seeking help, Sean readily agreed to assist her.
Evelyn was overwhelmed with joy, saying she would be in China in two days and hoped to meet Sean.
Sean was taken by surprise. He hadn't expected her to move so quickly, so he asked,
"What about your treasure hunting team? Have you quit?"
"Yes." There seemed to be no hesitation on Evelyn's end, "I wasn't contributing much to the team. In fact, all the other members have been trained in wilderness medicine and can handle regular wounds. My presence in the team was like that of a vase."
