"What a stroke of luck!" someone muttered quietly.
Another enviously asked:
"Where did you find it? Is it far from here?"
"Could this diamond be brought here on purpose for us to see?"
"There's no need for that."
Brown squeezed through the crowd and stood next to Sean Knight, his eyes filled with a hint of greed when he saw the diamond in his hand.
The broad bean-sized diamond had a faint pink hue. Although not very obvious, Brown, who had seen such things before, naturally knew its value.
"Did you find it in this forest?" Brown now understood a little why Smith highly praised Sean Knight's good luck.
He really is lucky!
He found a diamond as soon as he arrived!
"Yes."
"Good, take us there first thing tomorrow morning," Brown instructed, then said, "It's getting late, everyone rest up!"
He turned and left.
Sean Knight was a little puzzled. What did Brown mean? Was he planning to dig for diamonds there, or did he have other intentions?
