The first container was opened, and Auctioneer Cook announced a one-minute observation time. A dozen treasure hunters immediately stepped forward to take turns looking.
"Old blankets!" Howard Richardson glanced at it and showed a disappointed expression, "How much is this thing worth?"
Sean Knight explained:
"Actually, these blankets are worth some money. As long as they are intact and not damaged, they can be sold to second-hand stores for a good price after being cleaned - like this one, it could sell for several tens to hundreds of dollars. If it's new, it could be expensive, possibly ranging from hundreds to thousands of dollars."
Howard clicked his tongue and shook his head:
"I really don't understand the society of the rich!"
"Come on, you're one of the rich, aren't you?"
As the two joked around, the bidding had already begun.
Quite a few people were interested in these blankets, so the reserve price of 500 dollars soared to 1,500 dollars in less than a minute.
