Once they left the courtyard, Jason dared to ask Sean Knight:
"Boss, how did you know there was treasure there?"
Sean lectured him:
"When hiding something, you usually pick a more noticeable location, right?"
Jason nodded.
"Look at those trees in the courtyard, the age of the five big trees in front exceeds sixty or seventy years, right?"
"Yes." Jason thought about those big trees that took two or three people to embrace together, nodded, and agreed that Sean's explanation was reasonable.
"Only such big trees could be the target of Mr. Joseph hiding the treasure. Those newly planted saplings could never be the target."
"That's why I chose the middle one of the five trees. I figured if I were the one hiding the treasure, if it wasn't inside the building, then it would be hidden in a conspicuous place. And that big tree in the middle was my choice!"
