The high bid of 2,000 US dollars scared off a bunch of people, and the main competitors for Sean Knight were two groups.
One group was the three brothers from Central Asia, Sean couldn't tell where exactly they were from, but Jason later whispered to him that the three brothers were Jewish.
The other was a single person, a woman in her thirties, with a less voluptuous figure than Diana Smith, average looks, short hair, and a very capable appearance. She glanced at Sean from time to time.
Sean guessed that she was a newcomer.
The woman bid cautiously:
"2,300 US dollars!"
The trio of Jewish brothers were more bold, raising their hands directly:
"3,000 US dollars!"
Sean calmly raised his hand to bid:
"3,500 US dollars."
The woman didn't want to give up:
"3,600 US dollars!"
With the auctioneer's repeated prompting, the price quickly rose to 6,800 US dollars, at which point the woman gave up.
