Chapter 13 - Hello Kiki

A puppy is biting a green ball in its mouth. Saliva dripped and wet the ball's surface, but when the owner held the ball properly, he didn't seem to care much, even though the entire surface of his hand was wet and sticky.

A child is waiting for the dog and ball to arrive. The servants were waiting in the hot sun while they played in the rich house. They asked the men to ignore their game multiple times. The butler said they could not do that.

The pitch was so far out of sight that one of the kids nodded.

"Wow, look at that, Kiki! Let's grab it quickly!" shouted one of them. The funny-named dog barked loudly and understood they wanted him to go after him. They ran after Kiki, who had run away, to escape people's attention.

They called the children's names the same. The spirit of a child only eight years old is different when he has to deal with humans for 30 years and over. They could catch the person who had bitten the ball.

We are about to run in a far direction to avoid those people after they manage to get Kiki back. It was difficult to find them because their bodies were hiding in the bushes.

"Some go that way and others the other way around." Said the child guard. The children were hiding in the bushes that had been made for hiding before. They suppressed laughter because they didn't want anyone to hear them.

The girl silenced her little brother so that she could hear something else. They froze when they saw a shadow. You can guess who was standing behind them because of the silhouette made by the shadow.

They didn't want to get angry with those people or get bullied. Kiki barked loudly. It didn't cause them to be caught by the maid looking for them.

"Finally I found you." The mother could catch the two children. The man behind him was not the one who worked in the house. Even though he kept going downstairs, he brought a black bag and glasses to fix them.

"What are you doing here?" asked the woman.

"The maids and other people should not be concerned with your behavior." She added some more. The woman kisses them. She found no flaws in the blue dress she wore. The boy became sleepy when she tried to hold him.

She was going to give one to the man, but he refused because they were honorable children, and she couldn't just do it. She brought the children into the house after finding this. She wanted the butler to know that they had been discovered.

Her daughter didn't want her to do that because she didn't like William from the first time she met him. She defended William because there was no way they would always hate him when he had played such an important role in taking care of the house and their needs all these years. The boy agreed with his sister and asked that she only take him to his father's room.

The woman was unwilling to comply with their request. William and the other maids were waiting as she escorted the children to the room's front door. Even though they were set to report the incident to William. There was one of the servants carrying a trolley, and they saw the lunch ready to be served by the house owner.

"Samuel, can you bring daddy lunch? It's mom's turn for dinner." said the woman. She said that she still had unfinished business with the jack. Without hesitation, she did as she wanted.

The creak of the door awakened a man reading a book. He told them to leave after putting the thick book next to his bed. Samuel closed the door when he pushed the trolley.

Kiki gets a warning from Sonia to be polite when meeting their father. He showed a sad expression as he lowered his head. He teased Kiki and said that the dog was so good at acting that it showed such pleasure that it wanted to bite its tail.

He asked her to get onto his bed. He had doubts because his owner could have reprimanded him for being rude. The children were told to be gentle with Kiki. He was on the bed and could only sit between the blankets at his feet.

Sonia poured the warm soup into a clean bowl. The people in the house knew that the children only wanted to eat with their father at lunch and that they had prepared a smaller bowl. She missed their last gift because she was too tired to smell the meat from the food.

He wondered why the two liked to eat with him when the food was better for them. Samuel thought that he wanted soft food more than she did. A simple reason made the man cry, but he hid it.

"Did your mother never invite you to eat?" he asked. Samuel said that she didn't accompany meals. They are lonely and need a father and mother figure simultaneously, but because he is on a limited illness, it is impossible to get out of the room. He only wanted them to be nice to the woman.

Both Samuel and Sonia tried to comply with his requests. However, their mother always gave an excuse that she was busy working. They tried to convince him that he didn't have to worry about that because he wanted his recovery to go back to normal, and they could go back to enjoying time together.

The children fell asleep in the same bed after they talked for a long time. A maid brought the dog to the children's room after William was called to take them to their room. Five people went with William, and they did a great job.

He didn't say a word to them and chose to fall asleep so that when William offered to change the dirty bed after the children played on it, he didn't want his master to suffer any other illness after interacting with them.

"There is no need to get any other special treatment." He said firmly. William greeted them and left the room. He got out of bed after he made sure there was no one at the door.

He locked his bedroom and didn't let anyone in. He walked towards the painting after putting the key in the space. The portrait of a happy family moved him to tears. A secret passage emerged from the darkness as he pulled out a book.

His footsteps lead him to a place lined with passageways, and only he knows the whereabouts of that place other than the successor in the family who will inherit. Even Iaros remembers his late father's message that even his wife or butler shouldn't know that way. He delivered to his wife's room in 20 minutes.
