Layla exhale. they have arrived back in the cave at the foot of the mountain. But this time they are one alma fruit richer. She removes her armor and sits in the cave, eating some of the fruit that is allotted to her. Although she secretly wants to get it all, she is unable to do so because Michael helped her in obtaining the fruit.
Looking at Michael, she could see that the boy is eating the fruit more slowly than her.
"Are you not hungry?" She couldn't help but ask.
"No... I mean, I'm pretty hungry but, that fight at the top... what is it?"
"I don't know. I've never seen something like that before however, I do know that you should quickly eat the fruit unless you want me to eat it."
"...."
Although Michael speeds up his meal, his attention is diverted by something else. He always thought that the apex couldn't be messed with however, the fight earlier show that it could draw blood.
Silence filled the cave as the sound of rain lowered. Michael and Layla talk about something trivial stuff, play some tic-tac-toe together and then before long, the night arrives.
Layla is tasked with the first shift so, Michael went to bed. The rain finally stop after some hours. Layla's pretty happy about this. She estimate that they could leave this cave at about noon the next day.
She casts a drowsy gaze around her. Her body falls as her eyes abruptly close. Suddenly, a hooded person grabbed her. Gurara would identify this hooded figure as the previous acquaintance he had if he were to see it.
She brings out a square cube and it shines a bright platinum light, engulfing the whole space. The figure has been transported into a black space void of any being. She look up and saw shining stars in the sky and knit her eyes brows.
"What are you doing here lady?" A man's voice asks with a hint of hostility. Not everyone can enter this space, the person is very dangerous.
"..."
Not long after the sound a red light swirls and constructs Pike. He's currently observing what the hooded figure wants. By her figure, Pike could guess that she was a lady but, other than that he had no clue.
"Nothing much just checking in."
"On what, exactly?"
"...." She stared at Pike with a tight of confusion in her eyes but pike could not see it. The hood is made With a strange property. It shrouds its wearer in a very thick mist so, what Pike is seeing is only a figure that's keeping her silent. Seconds, turn into a minute as they stand across each other.
Pah!
Piek could not stand it anymore. His patience is not built to withstand a silent confrontation so, he charges into her instead. He throws a punch to test the woman but, his attack got blocked by an invisible cube barrier. The impact creates some sparks and Pike quickly back off.
This person knows how to fight in the dream world.
"Don't be hasty. I'm only here to check in on you."
"Oh? have we met before?"
"Yes, a long time ago."
"Lady this line is getting kinda old. I've heard that from many girls already."
"Well, you haven't heard it from me before."
The lady smirked at this situation. When she conversed with Pike she suddenly realized something and find this situation quite amusing. She looks up and checks all the light in the dark sky. She stops and looks at the white brilliant light.
"Look like my calculations are off"
"Lady you haven't answered my question!"
Pike gets more frustrated, he hates being left out of something important and this lady looks like she knows something. However, when he was about to make his move Pike got boxed in by a square barrier.
"What is this!... Let me out!" Pike ouch the barrier but it bonch him back. He didn't even make a dent in it.
The woman smiled and said, "Don't be too frustrated, be a good boy and relay this information to Michael when he comes in here."
A bright white light radiates from her finger and she uses it to draw a massage. The text is quite simple but, This information leaves Pike in a shocked state.
"I could.... prevent that?"
"Don't reveal too much information to him. I'm only telling you this because you can't do anything."
"....."
"Let me say this again don't reveal the last part."
"Why?" Pike knit his eyebrows. The information he's given will make a big difference if someone knows it.
"Because I've said so. You'll find out when Michael reaches the mainland."
"That's not what I ask!"
"Or would you prefer perishing right here? That'll make my job easier."
Somehow that threat is very threatening. Pike has been through many confrontations and faces many monsters but, this lady gives off a special kind of fear. Even the Sky dragon itself didn't give off this feeling of fear.
"That's it, be a good boy and send this message to Micahel. I'll see you when we are fate to meet." Then she vanishes into the space of infinite darkness leaving only Pike standing alone. Contemplating what he should do next.
Not long after the hooded figure disappear. Michael enters the black space.
"H...Hello," He meekly greets Pike since it looks like the man isn't in a good mood. Michael would feel the same if he got stuck inside this place... Could Pike go out?
"Hello, kid, the same as yesterday thrust the spear 1000 times. However, before we start I like to tell you about something..." Pike pauses a bit to take a good look at Michael
"The Boniha island will sink in 6 months"
"W..what?"
Michael's head spins when Pike's word enters his ears.
"H..how?"
"I don't know"
"??" Michael has the weirdest expression on his face when PIke answers him. "Then how did you know that the island will sink in 6 mouths?"
"Originally I don't want to tell you this..."
"...."
"But someone influences so, that's it. That's all that I could tell you at the moment. Go back to training." Pike disappears into a red light. leaving Michael with a shocked expression.
