Gurara is seated in a meeting room with 4 other people. At the head of the table is Belga, explaining the rescue plan. Across him are goose and Brama and On his right is Grum. They're all discasing what they could do to save most villagers in this situation. Gurara, though, is only partially listening. What is on his mind right now are his kids that went missing and the word of that mysterious lady.
He glances around the room, checking all the members of the elite hunters. He doesn't know who to trust. The Lady's word might be a ploy to get him to doubt his own teammate. However, If the woman's word is accurate, then he has to deal with this problem soon.
Gurara contemplates if he should reveal this information but, he holds it off. It would cause more chaos if they heard that there are an imposter. He decides that he should investigate all of them himself.
"Gurara?"
"Yea?"
"You will be in charge of the north side OK?"
"Sure."
The meeting wraps up.

Amidst the rainy weather, Michael and Layla are having a chat with Brava. He really didn't lie about the black cube. On their way to the village, Michael hasn't spotted any monster. Rowing through the forest Mciahel could see that the water level hasn't decreased at all since two days ago.
Micahel felt lucky that he encounter Brava. If they got stuck there for more time he, and Layla would have died from starvation.
The boat floats peacefully atop murky water. However, the peace doesn't last for long as They was stopped by ripples in the water. Brava peek out and check the surrounding. The rain obstructed most of his vision but, he could still see a big figure moving in the water.
Layla and Micahel also see this too.
"Hey... does that thing really work? the charm I mean..."
"Yeah... Brava never lies" Brava reassured them.
"But it's getting closer." Michael starts to have doubts about the item. The shadowy figure approach the boat at a fast speed, at this point they would soon make contact with it. None of them want this to happen.
"What do we do?" Layla panicked, They would likely lose if they were to fight a water monster right now.
"We stay quiet," Brava stops rowing the boat and instructs both of them. Michael has no other option than to follow. He held his breath as the shadowy figure slithers closer to them. The others also hold their breath, waiting for the monster to pass them.
Scound pass by
Tch
the sound came from the bottom of the wooden boat. It sounds like the back of that monster hit the boat. Michael is about to scream from fright just from that sound. However, he was able to keep his mouth shut because there's been worse.
A minute passed and nothing happened. The trio sucks in the air as the shadowy figure disappears deeper into the forest.
"You're are a liar!"
"NO, I... I can explain" Layla is rightfully angry. The item doesn't seem to work in her eyes. They could have sunk by now if they weren't lucky. She holds Brava by the neck ready to drop the boy into the water. With her strength, this isn't a problem at all.
"Layla, I don't think Brava is lying. There must be a reason right?" Micahel turns to Brava. He believes that Brava wouldn't lie like this. It would ruin his reputation.
"Yes! like Mihael said There must have been a reason!" Seeing that Layla is about to drop him Brava quickly explains
"If the charm doesn't work why would I be here? I really don't know why it didn't work!"
"...." Though Layla seems to have her doubts, his reasoning is sound. Upon more reflection, Layla agrees that Brava would not have come out here if it weren't safe. She drop Brava down, The situation earlier is dangerous so, she was unable to think straight.
"Sorry"
"At least you know how to apologize." Brava grasped for air a second time before speaking. "The monster must have been attracted by something and is just passing by."
Micahel nodded and Layla lessen her doubt.
"Then what could draw its attention?"
"It could be anything like human, fire, animal, or other monsters." Brava counts the possibility with his finger carefully as Layla watches him. The girl doesn't seem to like him very much.
"Then we should get back to the village," Micahel suggests. He doesn't want to be here any longer. His fear of water is getting worse by the minute.
"I agree," Layla add.
"Then let's go" Brava picked but the paddle and started rowing the boat. However, when they're about to depart, Layla's ears pick up a distant sound.
"h.....p"
"Wait you guys hear that?"
Through the rain, Layla could hear the faint sound of someone. Michael closes his eyes to listen but he can't hear anything other than the rain. Brava also shakes his head saying that he doesn't hear anything. Layla tilt her head in confusion, she really did hear it.
"h..e...p"
"There! You guys heard it right?"
"Layla we can't hear anything."
Brava confirms That he doesn't hear anything.
"Help!"
This time they definitely heard it. The sound came from a certain direction in the rain and Mciahel didn't like where this is going at all. That's the direction that the water monster is heading!
"That's where the monster is, right?"
"Yep, it's pretty clear that the monster got attracted to the sound."
"Do we help them?"
They all fell into silence. They would feel bad if they abandon someone that is about to die, at the same time they don't have enough power to fight a water monster. Seeing her friend's hesitation as an elite tribesman hunter she decides to speak up.
"We could take a look, right? If we can't help them we could get away with the thing that you have."
"Didn't you say my charm is ineffective?"
"Then we could just let someone die."
"OK.. let's check it out... Are you OK with that, Michael?"
"S...Sure"
Michael didn't really agree with the idea, but he couldn't just say it. The boat turn left and follow the sound into the dark rainy day.
