…2 Days Later…
Eren POV…
Currently, I was driving to the set where filming for Shawshank Redemption would begin. 'I was able to finish all the songs I wanted to be included for High School Musical. I'll pitch it to Uncle first before making a meeting with Disney.'
Arriving on set I could see a crew setting up props and lighting. We decided to rent out an old prison site for the
film. Walking through the crew I saw Uncle talking with Mr. Freeman.
Going up to them, "How's everything coming along?"
"Eren, going good we should be ready to start shooting in 30."
"Alright, how about you Mr. Freeman?"
"Could I borrow a moment of your time?"
"Of course," I said walking away from Uncle to an empty cell.
"So, what did you need?" I said sitting down.
"Well it's about the role," he said sitting down opposite of me.
But before he could continue I put my hand up, "Stop I already know what you going to ask."
"I beg your pardon."
"You going to ask me why I choose you for the role when I could have picked an A-list actor? And due to that logic, you're not very confident in performing the character."
Freeman's eyes widened as he was surprised that Eren knew what he was thinking. A look of guilt appeared on his face, "I mean can you blame me?"
Smiling I told him the truth, "Listen, just because I'm the hot shit right now doesn't mean I have a spot in this game. The fact of the matter is that I'm in the same position as you in that I have the pressure of creating and directing movies that can not only compete with the other movie companies out there but surpass them. The reason I chose you is that, well for that I won't tell you. It's not my job to tell you why you're great. Just do your best work."
I could tell he was interpreting the words I was saying, "And the role?"
"I wouldn't have assigned you one of the main characters if I didn't think you would be able to give the performance I envisioned. My vision is the script you have, I want you to absorb it interpret it, and then make your own version of the character," I say standing up. "And that applies to the other actors as well, the main thing is that even with a shit script if the actors have chemistry, it can significantly improve the overall product. Since I'm the director we can wait another 2 hours till we start filming, use that time to interact with each other."
Leaving the empty cell, I make my way over back to Uncle and get his attention, "Hey Uncle."
"Hey, so did everything with Freeman go well?"
"Yes, we're going to be delaying the start of filming another 2 hours."
"Ow, ok."
"Want to get some lunch?" I suggest.
"Sure, why not," Uncle responds getting his coat.
"By the way, in the next few days I'll be pitching you our next film," I said remembering that I wanted to update him today on the situation.
"Is it the musical with Disney?" Uncle assumed.
"Yes," I replied not looking forward to going back into the lion's den.
…2 Hours Later…
"Alright everyone ready," I say speaking out loud.
People responded with either a 'Yeah' or a thumbs up. I look over and the actors are already looking much more comfortable with each other. I see Mr. Freeman look my way and I give him a thumbs up to which he smiled and responded the same.
"Alright let's get set, everyone."
"Lights, Camera, Action!"
…Time Skip…
…Third Person POV…
In a local town, a group of friends was walking down the street trying to figure out what to do.
"Bowling Alley? Shouldn't be too expensive."
"Fuck No. What about a movie? Wouldn't mind seeing Home Alone again."
"True, I'm up for Home Alone."
As they were walking one of them noticed that a lot of people were lined up for something.
"Hey, what's going on over there?"
"It looks like there lined up for the bookstore."
"Why? Are they giving out free shit or something?"
"Actually, I think today Eren Wayne's book was released, Harry Footer or something."
"The name is Harry Potter & The Philosophers Stone, I was actually planning to buy it."
"What's it about?"
"What I saw online was something about wizards & magic."
"Well you said you wanted to get the book, If you don't get in line now it looks like they're going to sell out real quick."
"True, Alright If you're interested in the book, you could borrow it after I read it?"
"Alright bet."
…Eren POV…
I woke up and noticed a message appear in my vision.
{Harry Potter & The Philosopher's Stone Book Released (+2 Content Points) Remaining Content Point 2}
I wake up and stretch and reach for my phone and see that I have 20 missed calls. 'WTF why do I have so many missed calls—… OWW, Harry Potter released today."
Dialing the first missed call, I put my phone on speaker and start to do my morning routine. "Hey, Eren."
"Hey Uncle, you called a bunch of times is something up?"
"Yes actually, we are getting request after request for you to go on interviews, & podcasts. You're also trending again."
"I'm assuming it's because of my book's release?"
"Correct, actually bought 2 copies, one for me and one for Sarah I'll make sure to give a full review when I finish reading it."
"I look forward to the feedback. Bye."
"Bye."
I dialed the next number on the missed call list. "Hello?"
"Hey Mr. Wayne," said Steven Whitlock.
"Hey, Mr. Whitlock, I apologize for missing your calls."
"It's ok, Harry Potter is flying off the shelves nationwide. Not many reviews out at the moment but this book is probably going to break records."
"Good once more reviews come out and people have the time to read the book we can then go about doing interviews."
"I agree."
