Chapter 7 - Chapter 7: The Terror of the Goblin Shaman

"What? A goblin Shaman?" I exclaimed, my heart racing with fear. "Can goblins even use magic?."

"I saw it with my own eyes," the soldier replied, his face pale with shock. "He was using magic to control the other goblins, making them stronger and more aggressive. We barely made it out alive."

"Goblin Shamans are a rare and dangerous breed," the elder said, his voice grave. "They are gifted with the ability to use magic, which they use to control and manipulate other goblins. They are incredibly powerful and can pose a significant threat to our village."

"But how is it possible for goblins to use magic?" I asked, still trying to wrap my head around what I was hearing. "I thought only blessed species had the ability to use magic."

"It's not entirely understood," the elder replied. "Some believe that the elven magic somehow merged with the goblin blood during the cloning process, giving them the ability to use magic. Others believe that it was a fluke of nature, and that the goblins just happened to be born with the ability to use magic. Whatever the case may be, one thing is certain: goblin Shamans are a formidable force to be reckoned with."

I nodded, taking in the elder's words. It was a lot to process, but I knew that we needed to be prepared for the worst. The goblin Shaman was a serious threat, and we needed to find a way to stop it before it was too late.

"We need to come up with a plan to deal with this goblin Shaman," I said, determination in my voice. "I'll do whatever it takes to protect the village."

The elder nodded, his expression serious.

"We'll need to gather all of the information we can about the goblin Shaman and its abilities," he said. "We'll also need to strengthen our defenses and make sure that everyone is prepared for the possibility of an attack. It's going to be a difficult and dangerous task, but we have to be ready for whatever comes our way."

I nodded, determined to do my part in helping to protect the village. I knew that the Atlatl could be a valuable tool in the fight against the goblins, especially the goblin Shaman since it allows us to attack it from a distance.

"I'll start by researching the abilities of goblin Shamans," I said, determined to be as prepared as possible. "I'll gather all of the information I can find, including any weaknesses or vulnerabilities they might have. We need to be ready for anything."

The elder nodded, his expression grave. "That's a wise idea, Adam," he said. "We'll need to be as well-informed as possible if we're going to have a chance against this goblin Shaman. It's a formidable opponent, but with careful planning and determination, we can overcome it."

I spent the next few days pouring over every piece of information I could find about goblin Shamans. I consulted with the village's healers and witch doctors, seeking any knowledge or insights they might have on the creatures.

As we worked on preparing for the threat of the Goblin Shaman, we also increased our surveillance of the goblin horde. According to our scouts, the horde consisted of four hobgoblins and 53 normal goblins, in addition to the Shaman itself.

In addition to these preparations, we also worked on strengthening our defenses. We fortified the walls of the village and made sure that there were plenty of weapons and supplies on hand in case of an attack. We also worked on a plan for evacuating the village if necessary, in order to ensure the safety of our people.

As the days passed, the tension in the village grew. We knew that it was only a matter of time before the goblin Shaman made its move, and we were all on edge, waiting for the attack to come.

Despite the fear that hung over the village, I refused to let it get the best of me. I continued to research and learn everything I could about goblin Shamans, determined to find a way to defeat them. I spent countless hours studying texts and speaking with experts, looking for any weakness or vulnerability that we could exploit.

The other villagers were also working hard to prepare for the inevitable attack. The blacksmiths forged new weapons and armor, while the farmers stockpiled food and supplies. The healers and witch doctors practiced their craft, preparing to tend to the wounded in the event of a battle.

As we worked, I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride in the strength and determination of my fellow villagers. Despite the fear that hung over us, we were united in our determination to defend our home and protect our people.

As the days turned into weeks, the tension in the village reached a fever pitch. We knew that the goblin Shaman was out there, waiting for its chance to strike. We could feel its presence, lurking just beyond the walls of the village, watching and waiting.

Despite our preparations, I couldn't shake the feeling of dread that settled in my chest. I knew that the goblin Shaman was a formidable opponent, and I couldn't help but worry that we might not be able to defeat it.

But I refused to give up hope. I continued to study and prepare, determined to find a way to stop the goblin Shaman and protect the village. And when the attack finally came, I was ready.

The goblins came at us with a ferocity that I had never seen before. They were led by the goblin Shaman, its magic making them stronger and more aggressive than ever before.

But with the Atlatl in hand, I was ready.
