Audie looked concerned at Valentin's hesitation and lack of enthusiasm, had he been too hopeful after all? Did Vale not want to come along anymore?
"Fine, let's go." Valentin got to his feet, hopefully, if it was dark enough, he wouldn't have to worry about hiding his hickey.
Just as they stepped out of Audie's dorm room, they both bumped into Jacques who froze at the sight of them. "Fancy seeing you both here,"
Audie immediately shrank back at the sight of the taller Alpha and Valentin caught onto this, and quickly hatched a plan. If Jacques came along, Audie would be too occupied with the other to pay much attention to him, which was exactly what Valentin needed.
