Errol and Nael had an equally tense dinner that seemed to only affect the senior. Nael looked just fine, taking his job of piling food on Errol's plate very seriously.
Errol on the other hand was strung up as tight as a bow, eating to distract himself. They had decided to eat in the dining hall tonight; as Errol got more comfortable eating in public, they did it more often, occasionally joining the others to eat.
They had sat at a separate table this time because Errol expected to have a serious conversation with Nael but they were already almost done with dinner and they were yet to have said conversation.
Errol found himself thinking hard about the topic of their discussion, mentally creating a list, and ticking checkboxes.
Sure they had moved their beds together and slept together but most people did that, right? It was simply the smart thing to do if you wanted more space.
