By the time the snacks arrived and were all laid out, Henri was starting to question his decision to help Dio.
The Alpha wiggled his bandaged fingers and waited expectantly, his mismatched eyes pleading.
Henri's expression soured. "I'm not feeding you, eat your scones yourself."
Dio waited for a few beats before reaching forward to take a scone himself to quietly eat, earning himself a betrayed look from Henri.
The Omega had actually felt guilty and was about to give in only to realize that Dio had just been pulling one over him.
"Next time I'm not ordering anything for you." He grumbled, taking a sip of his iced tea.
Dio's response was to offer one of his scones as a token of apology, his expression plaintive.
Henri eyed up the pastry, more upset that he was unable to put an upset front to Dio. It was impossible to be angry with the tall, gloomy Alpha.
