"I expected to see the three of them waiting for us at breakfast," Henri said as he sat down in the dining room, students milling in around them. Chandeliers hung low, the delicious scent of a variety of foods filling the large room.
"As did I."' Louis murmured, absently correcting Dio's cutlery-holding technique like it was something he did every other time. It actually was something he did do but only the first time they met, afterward, the three monsters, especially Audie and Valentin always got in between them.
Now that Dio got to sit beside Louis again, Henri noted that he conveniently forgot how to hold his cutleries but he made no mention of it, more concerned about the three monsters, particularly Nael.
Louis said his worries out loud. "Do you think this has something to do with Nael?" He said, helping Dio cut into his roasted duck.
Henri's response was a non-committal hum, they would find out sooner or later.
