Henri looked thoughtful, things were starting to fall into place now. "So are you discouraging me from joining the club?" He asked bluntly.
Quinn looked away. "I'm merely being honest."
"Have there been any applicants today?" He asked curiously.
The president fixed his soulful black eyes on him. "Quite a handful, most joined the club because of Seton's fame so they're no different from the members you just met. The few that joined because they wanted to pursue their interest all left, you're the first person to still show interest after meeting them."
"I wouldn't back out of a challenge I proposed." Henri said regally.
"Henri… I-I mean your Highness…" Tarquin stumbled over his words.
"Just Henri is fine."
"N-Not to be presumptuous but I'd ask that you reconsider racing Seton, he's a State champion."
