Inhye's POV
I was on my way to my sister's office when I received the call from the hospital.
"Are you Miss Hwang Inhye?"
The staff asks me. "Yes." I say. "You are wanted in the hospital as a close contact of Miss Song Bora." She tells me
"Which hospital?" I ask, worried. "Seoul Hospital. We have a very hard time checking her over." She answers saying
"I'll be there soon." I say. I texted my sister that I have urgent matters to do before heading to the hospital.
While I arrived at the emergency room, Bora was just hugging herself crying while the nurses are thinking whether they should sedate her or not
"Bora. Are you okay?" I ask her, worried. "Please don't tell Chanyi or Jen, I will be beaten to death if they find out about this." She ends up crying even more and more
"Bora. Take in a deep breathe." I tell her. It took me a while to get her calm this way. "Are you Miss Hwang Inhye?" The nurse then asks me
"Yes, I am." I tell the nurse. "Good. We've been wanting to check Miss Song for any injuries but the moment she woke up here, she starts crying and it's hard for us checking her over with her state like this." The nurse explains to me
"Bora. The nurses want to check you for any injuries." I softly tell her. Bora just nods her head but I can feel for some reason her body is very tense
"Do you want me to come in with you?" I ask her. She nods her head scared. The nurses do let me come in. Slowly but surely she is being checked.
At one point she was given relaxants just to calm down. I still stay with her. "She has a dislocated leg and some bruises." The nurse tells the doctor
"Anything on the inside?" I ask. "No." The doctor shook his head telling me. "Thank you." I say. They soon transfer Bora into a private ward. Bora was quiet yet wary even after being put in the ward
"How are you feeling?" I ask her. "Scared but safer" She softly tells me. Maybe it's just me but seeing Bora like this really is not something I am used to.
"Do you need anything?" I ask her. "Just stay with me please" She looks at me. I nod. "I will." I reassure her. "Do you want a hug?" I then asked her softly.
She nods and I go to her bed and hug her softly, she immediately got comfortable and hugged back.
We stay like that for a while, which i dont mind. We two were soon asleep after that while of hugging.
-The Next Day-
I was woken up by a phone call from both Jen and Chanyi but Bora was still asleep hugging me
I, still being half asleep, qnswer one of them. I'm not quiet sure which one.
"Is this Inhye? Chanyi here!" I ended up answering Chanyi's. "Hi." I just say. "Did you happen to speak to Bora? I haven't heard from her the whole night after I send her home. Is she alright?" He then tells me what happened
I just "huha." I say. "Huha?" He asks me confused as I looked at Bora and remember her telling me not to tell Jen or Chanyi. I go quiet.
"You know. Where are you?" He asks. "Did something happened?" He asks again. "Why do you ask?" I ask. "Bora usually will tell me everything and it seems to me you know what happened." He then says
"And dont play mind games." He tells me. I can't help looking at Bora. 'Sorry Bora' I apologised in my thoughts before putting her back to the bed carefully and leave the room to continue the call
"Okay. Bora has been beaten up. She's at Seoul Hospital." I then tell him
"When?" He asks, sounding like he is ready to yell. "Just yesterday night, I have been with Bora in the hospital throughout." I explained briefly
The call then ends, he is coming isnt he. Speaking of the demon, he soon arrives with Jennifer.
"Is Bora doing okay?" Jennifer with a concerned tone, asks me the moment she arrived
"Shes asleep." I tell them. "Do you know how did it happened?" Chanyi then asks me anxiously.
"I was called by the hospital, she never say anything except if you or Jennifer found out, she will be beaten to death." I explained to him what happened
A nurse then walks over, asking if everything is okay. Chanyi right away is asking what happened to Bora and how's she doing.
"Miss Song has sustained a dislocated leg and bruises around her abdomen. The police at the scene have reported she was injured in an altercation I believe." She tells Chanyi
Chanyi's POV
"Miss Song has sustained a dislocated leg and bruises around her abdomen. The police at the scene have reported she was injured in an altercation I believe." The nurse tells me when I asked her about Bora
"She has also been given relaxants to calm down because she was scared to let anybody check her over." She continued
"Inhye over there was put down as her emergency contact." The nurse adds on. 'Altercation? Bora never fights' I think to myself over what the nurse has said.
After the nurse tells us a few more things, she has excused herself. I go back to Jen and Inhye. Well just then and Bora has woken up.
"Jen…Chanyi…" She rubs her eyes looking at us both. "Sorry, Bora." Inhye aplogigses to her. "It's okay. The cat will soon come out the bag eventually." Bora reassures her as she tries getting up
I want to help her but will she scream and panic? I did either way but she didn't scream or panic, just softly thanking me
"No worries." I say. "I will get Bora her favourites." Jennifer says. "Inhye coming with me?" She asks Inhye
Inhye nods, following Jen out of the room. Soon after, Bora and I are alone in the room.
"Are you okay?" I ask her. She nods her head quietly. "Don't you mind telling what happened?" I then carefully asked her
"He violate his probation and beat me up…" She looked at me admitting what happened.
"Do you know why?" I ask her. She shook her head. "Wonder if is because I wouldn't pay for his bail…" She also wonders herself.
I then remembered, Cheoljin's bond was set pretty high and Bora already expressed to me she won't bail him out for shooting Jennifer
"He has to stop thinking you will bail him out and to stop thinking you will give him money." I say. Bora just ends up crying.
I hug her and she hugs me back. "I'm sorry…" She cries hugging me back. "No. Please." I rub her back, softly. I just let her cry it out even if it's for my shirt to get soaked by her tears
After a while she does stop and calms down a lot. "Better now?" I asked her and she nods her head. "Good." I say as we dont pull away from the hug, which is perfectly fine.
