" Sheeze, it looks like we may have gone overboard with our shopping, " Issei said with a wry smile as he held four big bags in each hand. Without his recent training and devil physique, he was sure that he wouldn't be able to hold this much luggage.
"But for the welcome party, President Rias said that she needs all this stuff, " Asia who was next to him said. "You know Issei kun I can hold some more if all those bags are too heavy " she offered as she looked at Issei with a bit of worry. While Issei was carrying eight big bags she was just carrying two small bags.
"No no how could I ask Asia to do that? As a man, I can handle this much "Issei rejected her immediately. How could he as a man let Asia carry something this heavy?
While they were talking, Asia and Issei didn't notice the person who was walking in front of them. So when they met, Asia who was very weak was about to fall down.
" Asia " Issei was about to hold his hand and grab Asia from falling down but someone was quicker than him.
The man who had dark green and squinted eyes caught Asia who was about to fall. " I hope you are alright, Asia " he said as he gave a gentle smile.
" You are " Asia looked at the man who caught her with wide eyes. She felt this man is very familiar.
The man still kept his usual smile as he helped Asia stand up. Then he went on one knee and said, " Hello Asia it's been a while. My name is Diodora Astaroth the devil who you saved that day "

"Oh, this is bad news," Luna muttered as she stashed her binoculars. She'd been on her usual patrol when she felt a teleportation gate open near the marketplace. But she hadn't expected to see *that* person standing there with Issei and Asia.
Diodora Astaroth. Luna recognized him instantly. He was one of the people on Roxanne's "must eliminate" list. From the reports, he was a self-centered, arrogant creep with a fetish for nuns. Worse, he was a key player in the Khaos Brigade's Old Satan faction, and this bastard was now a marked target after the havoc he caused at the Vatican.
When Roxanne took command, she instructed the Seraphim to perform an exhaustive investigation into the church's ranks. She wanted a complete purge, especially targeting those bishops who'd dared to excommunicate Asia. With Roxanne in charge, Michael and the others could act without worrying about the system collapsing, even if faith values took a hit.
And it seemed the purge was timely. They'd already uncovered a disturbing amount of corruption and even Khaos Brigade spies within the church. Diodora's ties to the church would surely surface soon. But this guy seemed utterly unconcerned.
"Should I just kill him?" Luna mused, a sinister smile creeping onto her face. "I'm sure Roxanne wouldn't mind. If he's dead, there's no need to worry about his schemes." She was about to leap into action when the necklace around her neck began to glow softly.
Just like that, Luna, who was on the brink of hunting down a criminal, froze, her expression softening.
The necklace was a calming artifact Roxanne had crafted specifically for her. During the night, it absorbed moonlight, then released it when Luna's mind was on the verge of frenzy. Being a Moon Kitsune, Luna belonged to one of the wildest Yokai clans, cursed ages ago to accumulate malice whenever the sun was in the sky, driving them toward madness. The only thing that could cleanse them was moonlight. Knowing this, Roxanne had made the necklace to ease Luna's fears of losing control.
"I should report this to Roxanne immediately," Luna decided, and with a swift leap down from the building, she slipped into an alleyway and vanished..

"I see... thank you for your report, Luna," Roxanne said, her voice low as her hair shadowed her face. Her fists were clenched, her mana almost crackling around her.
"Do you need me to take action?" Luciana asked, feeling her master's simmering anger. "It would be swift, and no one would find his corpse," she added, a gleaming dagger appearing in her hand, ready for the order.
Roxanne didn't respond immediately. Instead, she handed Luciana and Luna a set of files that materialized in her hand. Both of them frowned upon seeing the logo stamped on the cover: the mark of the Alliance.
Reading through the contents, Luna and Luciana's eyes widened with disbelief.
"Is the Alliance really this foolish?" Luna, who usually thrived on chaos, couldn't help but mutter in exasperation.
The file contained a detailed plan outlining the Alliance's strategy for the upcoming Rating Game tournament. They'd received intelligence of a potential attack on the Underworld and saw an opportunity to use it to their advantage. They were monitoring anyone even remotely suspicious, and Diodora Astaroth was at the top of their list. Apparently, he'd displayed an unusual level of demonic power, even killing Zephyrdor Glasya-Labolas, making him a prime suspect in the eyes of the Alliance.
But the file also contained an order: everyone was to turn a blind eye to Diodora's actions until the "final play." The Alliance believed he was bait to lure out other hidden threats and insisted no one interfere with his activities until they had a larger target.
This left Roxanne with her hands tied. Despite having evidence and a deep personal grudge, she couldn't take action against Diodora without risking the Alliance's entire operation. She knew Diodora was here to target Asia—one of her friends. But with the Alliance prioritizing their surveillance plan, Issei and his friends would have to fend off Diodora alone.
"Mistress, we have bad news!" The door burst open, and a show garden girl rushed in, looking panicked.
Roxanne's gut twisted. She could sense it: this was about to get even worse. "What happened?" she asked, bracing herself.
" Mistress we have just received information that Rizeiem would join the attack on the underworld. " the girl said making both Luciana and Roxanne starleted.
"Wait is this news reliable? " Roxanne asked as she looked at the girl seriously. The girl nodded her head frantically.
" damn is that bastard trying to make my life difficult. Wasn't he supposed to be cooped up with his research with that holy grail? " Roxanne cursed as she felt a huge headache coming.
Although she doesn't fear Rizieviem as she could defeat him in less than a hour without even releasing all of her seals. The problem with him is that she has no idea how his brain works.
Rizieviem is a psychopath whose thinking pattern is not something she as a sane person could understand. Especially when he wouldn't mind blowing this whole world with him. If that action could interest him he would do that without any hesitation.
And this bastard has been making moves every so often. Did he have this much free time with all the research he was doing?

While Roxanne was cursing Rizevim that man in question was sneezing left and right. This has been happening for a while now which led to him not being able to concentrate on his research.
"Should I just go to a doctor? " Rizevim asked aloud as he wiped his nose. For the last few years, he would get sick every so often making him wonder about his identity as a devil. As far as he know no devil had ever been reported catching a cold.
"Master are you sure you want to go to the underworld while in this condition " Euclid asked as he handed another napkin to his master.
"Yeah, you're right. Just order those magicians you have to support Shalba and Creuserey. With this much I'm sure would be enough to cause enough chaos in the underworld. " Rizevim thought about it and said. He didn't want to make a fool of himself. How shameful would it be if he the dignified son of Lucifer sneezed during his speech or even in battle?
"Oh and make sure to capture or kill that fake Lucifer. " he added with a dangerous glint in his eyes.
