While Loki was having his childish revenge on Saji Roxanne finally landed near the place where she threw the two dragons.
When she arrived at the place the two were getting up. Although they hit the mountain very hard due to their amazing physiques as dragons they could easily withstand such attacks. So apart from being a bit disorientated both of them wasn't injured in the slightest.
"Okay, who the hell did this to us " Grendel asked as got up and dusted his body. He was a bit annoyed that someone threw him towards a mountain like that.
" yeah, that's not cool. " Ladon also said as he stood up. With his body shape, he looked ridiculous.
Roxanne didn't say anything to them as she just waved her hand numerous chains began to appear from the portals that suddenly opened in every direction.
Seeing her opponent didn't like to speak Ladon hastily made some barriers appear around them to block the chains from catching them again.
The chains bounced off the barrier. Even though Ladon hastily made them these barriers are still something even an ultimate-class being would have to take seriously. After all Ladon's barriers are something even the supreme magic specialist Aži Dahāka couldn't replicate.
After the chains were bounced off Grendel took a deep breath and fired a fireblast from his mouth. They decided to greet their opponent in the same manner she did to them.
Looking at the firestorm that was coming near her Roxanne didn't flinch as she opened a portal directly in front of her. The fire blast was directly devoured by the portal without even hurting a single hair strand of Roxanne.
Roxanne then dodged to the side as Grandel attacked her with a claw swipe by using the firestorm as a cover. As she was about to deliver a kick she felt the time around her began to slow down. Looking around she saw that she was inside a barrier with a time-dilation effect.
Usually, when someone gets caught in Ladon's barrier they would have no choice but to use all their strength to break free from the restrictions. After all, using brute strength is always the easier option.
But who is Roxanne? She is the person who likes to do the impossible. Death aura began to come out of her body as it began to cover the barrier in pitch blackness. And after a second it began to dissipate.
After the smoke vanished Roxanne was still inside the barrier but instead of being in midair like she was a moment ago, she is now walking on the ground normally. It is like the time dilation has no effect on her.
"Impossible you took control over my barrier " Ladon screamed in disbelief. As a barrier specialist, he has absolute confidence in his barriers. Even Aži Dahāka couldn't hijack his barriers. And even if he could it would at least take days. But this girl did in less than a minute.
"You are so dead " Anger began to cloud Ladon's mind. His pride was hurt and dragons losses their minds when their pride was hurt.
" Take this " he shouted as he began to chant a spell with all of his hundreds heads at once. Magic circles began to appear all around the place with different types of elements. And in seconds many types of barriers began to hurl down at Roxanne.
Some barriers would catch fire as soon as they finished being deployed reducing anyone who was inside into ashes. Some barriers could freeze someone to death if there was anyone unlucky enough to be inside. Some barriers would show the people inside their worst nightmares after being deployed.
"Hey Ladon that's my prey, " Grendel said as he was annoyed by having to share his opponents with someone else. Especially if they finished off their opponents without giving him enough time to have fun.
Before Ladon could reply he and Grendel once again had to dodge to the side as two very pointy chains came down on them.
" Fire fist " Grendel shouted as he ignited fists with flames and punched forwards with a wide smile. He was excited that his prey didn't die just yet so without waiting for Ladon to make a move again he attacked.
The earth burned as Grendel's attack went towards Roxanne. Roxanne jumped high into the air to dodge the giant fire fist.
"Got you, " Ladon said as he smirked as he trapped Roxanne in one of his barriers again. "Have a taste of this barrier of explosion "The barrier suddenly began to light up and the next moment it exploded in the air.
"Oi Ladon didn't I say that don't steal my prey "Grendel said with a cold voice. He wished he could beat this bastard for stealing his prey twice.
Ladon looked at Grendel with a cold gaze and said, " That was our target and did you forget that was the daughter of Lucifer and the boss told us to kill her at first notice? He explicitly said to bring her dead body "
Hearing the word 'boss ' Grendel immediately calmed down. He was a man who loved to fight anyone but even then he wasn't suicidal. And he knew disobeying the boss would mean his death. That guy is the true devil.
" so it was Rizeviem who sent you two huh, " Roxanne's voice was heard as she came out of the explosion unharmed. Previously she was puzzled as to why these two evil dragons were deployed. She didn't think for a second that the devil council could make these moves. So the only reasonable solution is that they asked someone who could command these to help them.
And now Roxanne realized who that person was. That is Rizeviem. These two dragons listened to Rivzeviem due to him reviving them with the Sephiroth Graal. This was something she realized when they said the word boss. Apart from Rizeviem, not even Ecuild could make them have that much fear. And what's more, their next words confirmed Roxanne's theory.
" Well since he is your boss let me take extra care of you two " Roxanne said as she took special swords from her imaginary space.
The two swords were identical to each other as they were both western swords that had a black base and dark blue runes all over the blade.
Although to the common person these two swords may look ordinary ,but to Grendel and Ladon they could feel an unimaginable terror gripping their hearts as they gazed at the two swords.
The swords Roxanne held is made from a special material that made all the dragon's fear. It is because these two swords that are shaped like western swords are made from the body of the Black Dragon Acnologia who was known as the king of dragon slayers and the black dragon of the apocalypse.
Acnologia, as everyone knew, had immense hatred for dragons. So these swords that were made from his body naturally inherited his bloodlust. So when it smells a dragon nearby it unconsciously releases its bloodlust and makes any dragon that comes across it shaking in fear.
" Let the dance begin, " Roxanne said as she took a stance. Her eye glowed with her battle intent.
