"Young Prince, there is actually one thing that your father told me to tell you." said General Jing, while looking at the newly constructed tombstones.
Xian Wu just looked silently towards his father's tomb.
"He said that wherever you go, after one year, you nees to be back and stay in the Inner Chamber of the Royal Palace.
When King Qin and his helpers attacked the palace, Empress Dowager, Hua-sama used one of her cultivation technique to bring all your sibling and mothers towards one year into the future. However, it cost her her cultivation." explained General Jing.
"So that's why I cannot see any of my sibling and mothers" said Xian Wu, feeling relieved. "Then, why did my father did not follow them?"
"That's because of several reason. First, Hua-sama cannot bring someone on the same or higher level cultivation than her. Otherwise, she would die instantly the moment she used that technique.
The second reason is that your father want to wait for you, in case you came back to check on your family. There is also the fact that he was a King. He cannot just run away, leaving his people. He also want to prove that even if he going to die, he will drag his opponents together with him to die. Well, he managed to do just that." replied General Jing.
"I see." Xian Wu just nodded. "One year huh. That's enough time for some revange."

After the mourning day passed, Xian Wu assembled the highest authorities which were still in the kingdom. There are five high authorities that were still holding the pillar of of power below the Royal power. These five are the War Generals, the Nobles, the Protectors, the advisors, and the Alchemist Union.
When King Qin groups attacked the Xian Royal Palace, some of these high authorities did not participate. The Alchemist Union just kept themselves away and did not even go to the funeral of King Xian.
The advisors fled the moment they saw the enemies are attacking, and only comes back when Xian Wu summoned them for the high authorities assembly.
As for the nobles, they are mostly the relatives of the royal family. The attack from the King Qin groups is an opportunity for them to take over the throne. Some of the noble avoided involving themselves from the fight, some send out their cannon fodder to fight, and some disguised their people as the Qins and attacked the people in the palace. However, there are also noble that truthfully supported the royal family to fight the enemy. Xian Wu who usually run around, talking to people including the nobles know this much.
As for the war generals and the protectors, they are the main vanguard to fight against King Qins groups. From the north side of Xian Kingdom, King Qin brought with him some troops, together with his two Emperor level fighter, and the added two Emperor level fighter from the Ming Country. Along their way towards the Xian Royal Palace, they killed six war generals, and many other troops under the generals.
Fortunately, the five most powerful person in the group, King Qin and the four Emperor fighters hastily charged towards the Xian Royal Palace. The rest of the troops were attacked by the protectors, which were consist of elite guards, and cultivators inside the Kingdom. "First and foremost, I want to offer my condolences those who have lost your relatives in the fight against King Qin. I truely am sorry for your loses." said Xian Wu.
His listener who felt sorry for the young prince were surprised hearing that. It seems this prince is mature enough to not just felt lost for himself.
"For that, I will give some compensation to them." He then took out a space ring and gave it to General Jing. "General Jing, I will have to burden you to handle these compensation. I already set the terms of compeneation inside the ring." said Xian Wu.
"I will do as you command, Young Prince." saluted General Jing.
"Now, lets move on to the next issue. For the moment, our Kingdom has no King. Who want to be a King?" asked Xian Wu.
The other were stunned when they heard him, especially the nobles.
"Hahaha. Young Prince, this is not the time to make some jokes." said Wang Ji, one of the noble's family head.
"Yes. Are not you next in line to be the King, Young Prince?" asked Yuwen Zhou, also one of the noble's family head.
"I'm not joking!" said Xian Wu with a serious tone. "Let me ask you nobles, advisors, and Alchemist Union. Where were you guys when the Qin BASTARDS attacked?"
All these high authorities just looked at Xian Wu nonchalantly. However, some of the nobles bowed down their head.
"I know some of you nobles get involved and supoorted my father seriously to fight that Qin. For that, I really am thankful to you. If I have to pick a king, I would like to take one of them as the new King."
The bowing noble rised their head and felt stunned. On the other hand, the faces of the other nobles, the advisors, and the Alchemist Union changed when they heard Xian Wu. The war generals and the protectors were also surprised with this.
"I am not as wise as my father. I also don't want to be involved in the struggle to take the throne. Most of all, right now I am weak." stated Xian Wu.
"Young Prince, please consider it carefully. If you ascend the throne as the new King Xian, we will support you wholeheartedly." Said Tang Fung, the head of the noble who supported King Xian in the last fight.
"We are also in favor of you ascending the throne." said General Guo, who was amazed with Xian Wu's characters. The other generals also nodded.
"We proctectors has always known Young Prince as someone that is kind. So, we are also in favor of the Young Prince to be the new King." Said Zhao Fang, the leader of the protectors.
Now, the other nobles, the advisors, and the Alchemist Union were unable to sit still. At first, they thought the prince has no supporter as he is now all alone. Who knows, one of the nobles, the war generals, and the protectors were going to support him.
"Let us be frank. No offense, but the Young Prince is not qualify to be the next king." said Wang Ji boldly. His words shocked the others. He added, "Other than being the son of the late King Xian, he has no other quality. He is weak in term of cultivation. He also have never experienced holding any kind of authorities. Also, if he become the new King, our kingdom will become the target of the neighbouring countries and kingdoms. The Qin and the Zhu Kingdom will certaintly want his head."
Hearing this, the other fall into contemplation.
"Wang Ji of the Wang noble family. Actually, I have some issue with your family." said Xian Wu.
Wang Ji suddenly felt something bad is about to happen. Xian Wu took several coffin from a space ring that he was wearing.
"Guards, open these coffins."
The guards then opened those coffin.
"Ah! There are corpses inside."
"Wait, they seems familiar. Are not they the members of Wang family?"
"Why are they using Qin's armors?"
Wang Ji's face turned pale when he saw those corpses. In that instant, he jumped to the back and run away.
"These are the members of the Wang family who disguised themselves as Qins and attacked this palace." explained Xian Wu. "Head Protector Zhao Fang, I will leave the Wang family to you to handle."
"Leave it to me, Young Prince." nodded Zhao Fang. He then commanded his men and moved towards the Wang family compound.
"Now then. Advisors and Alchemist Union, what do you guys have to say regarding the throne and the last Qin's attack?" asked Xian Wu, looking at these two group.
The advisors kneeled in front of Xian Wu. "Young Prince, we know we are wrong. We are too weak to fight those Qins."
"And you run away just like that? Have you not ever considered to save even one of the weak maid in this Royal Palace? Or do you think your life is more important than the maid's?" scolded Xian Wu. "You see, many of the maids, and guards died in that attack, and the three of you are happily partying in the brothel after escaping the palace. If I didn't summon you guys for this assembly, I'm not sure when will you three would show up."
The faces of the three advisors changed when they heard this. How the hell did this guy know that we were in the brothel. In that instant, they looked at each other. A glimpse of agreement flashed in their eyes. Suddenly, the jumped toward Xian Wu. Each of them took out a dagger and stabbed it towards Xian Wu. The three of them are a Master level cultivators and their attack were too fast for a Disciple level cultivator to evade.
