Chapter 1 - Prologue...

Somewhere on earth in a Mansion in the center of the city of Mehran, in the living room were sat 7 people in awkward silence, these people if met outside will have the whole population have a very peculiar feeling not knowing whether to praise them and shower them with praise for their glorious achievement and honor they've brought to humanity or sigh at the situation and want to blame them for the precarious situation they've put the humans population in for their actions, surely a contradictory situation.

Sitted and silent, you can see their eyeballs wandering and feel their nervousness, should an outsider come in they'll be surprised since these people sitted aren't the one to make deals with the agent of patience, until it was broken abruptly.

"So you're the one named the Sage?, nice to finally meet you in flesh " said a red haired female in her early twenties, finally breaking the silence, while pointing to a teenager sitting on the other side of the room engrossed reading a book wearing a Thobe" she smirked and looked at the rest of the people in the room before finally settling on a nerd looking guy sharing a sit with an English man and pointed a him saying "and I cant believe the man known as the Fist Emperor to all is actually a damn Nerd!"

"Seems you're the only whose persona remains the same in both realities, shameless Witch!" retorted the nerd dude

"you guys should be silent, don't be rude in other people's home" said a Chinese man from the other side except he successfully shifted everyone's aggro onto himself as everyone's gaze was locked onto him like the bull's eye

"I thought the Sword Emperor was a taciturn" said the English man as he rolled his eye.

"I don't make unnecessary comments" the Chinese man replied as if he didn't care about whatever everyone thought.

"For a second I thought you were going to say more than a full sentence, seems nothing's changed." said a lady with dark skin, obviously an African, her tall and compact figure that made anyone who laid eyes on her feel like she's going to pounce them, weirdly enough her voice was the only thing made everyone realize that there was an additional person in the room.

Standing by the wall in the most inconspicuous corner of the room and looking at everyone like a predator stalking her prey, it was weird how they all thought there was six of them in the room.

"who are you?" said a blonde female who'd been silent since all these while, while looking at everyone, its obvious she was trying to confirm if anyone of them to recognize the lady.

"you must be 'Nightshade' the assassin, never thought you're an African, should the World Government know of these I bet their expression would be worth looking at, said the Arab scholar finally raising his head from the book he was engrossed in while fixing his glasses.

"like that'll stop me from doing what I want" replied the assassin, while playing with a figurine she picked from God knows where.

Everyone was on alert except the Arab scholar who just smiled and looked back at his book while saying "yeah, that wont be you if you suddenly give in".

"so it's the rumored God-slayer, I'm not sure if I should be honored for finally meeting you" said the blonde European lady.

"Depends on the amount of times you've died to my blade, 10 times and above makes you a guest of honor" the assassin retorted with a smirk.

"Hah, I love that one " the redhead couldn't help but chuckle at the little confrontation between the assassin and the blonde European lady, it can be seen from this that they've both got some history among them.

"I see you've all got acquainted with each other, sorry for the wait, got my schedule full and wasn't expecting any guests this month until Walter told me about your situation" said a man who appeared mysteriously by the door facing the seated youths, none among them even knew when he appeared in the room, not even the assassin standing few feet away from him, amused by their expression, he curled up his lips and approached the canter table and placed a tray filled with cups on it and filled it with tea from the kettle he had on the other hand.

After filling he picked a cup for himself while making an invitation gesture to the rest and taking a sip from his cup, seeing no one making any move he heaved a sigh and said "its good tea, I brewed it myself, help yourself before it gets cold."

"you must be an administrator from the tower of apotheosis, thought as much there were actual people behind each trial floors acting as the administrators" said the Arab while placing his book on the stool beside him and picking a teacup for himself and taking a sip his eyes fixed on the man before him.

"good deduction, as expected of the one acknowledged by Merlin, that's how the whole tower is maintained and controlled, and me working as an administrator is just a side job " said the man with a smile.

"you seem to know a lot about the tower, who are you?, a GM?" asked the English lad who had his tea cup together with the saucer, from the way he help his cup it can be seen that he hailed from a family with a heritage.

"Ha ha, I apologize for that, though I'm not a GM, who I am is not something that you're supposed to come across yet, just know that I have the authority to decide whether you all get to answer to the Galactic Alliance or Not, why don't you all introduce yourselves I only remember you kids by your character name" he replied with his eyes still fixed on the tray which still got a teacup left on it.

"I don't drink tea, it's bitter and disagrees with my taste buds" said the female assassin with a rare look of embarrassment on her face when she noticed the mans gaze travel between her and the teacup.

"try it, its different" said the Arab scholar dude with a slight smile.

"fine" she said while walking toward the tray and picking the teacup and having a taste.

"good tea!" she exclaimed with a reddened face while moving backward to where she stood previously.

"yeah, I know right" replied the man with a smile still plastered on his face while looking at everyone where he stood.

"I'm James Worthington" said the nerd in Jacket and black pants

"I'm Reginald Fairfax" continued the English man

"Freya Montfort" the blond woman continued while having her eyes glued to the teacup

"Viviana De Luca" the red haired lady said with a smile

"Xiao Jiangfeng" said the Chinese man while looking around

"I'm Yusuf Al-siddiq" said the Arab scholar with a smile.

"I'm Yusuf Zainab" finished the lady with dark skin with her eyes closed still savoring the taste of the tea.

"I told Walter to call you guys over so I can see those who were deemed sinners of the world before I made my decision" and I've made up my mind.

"I guess we've disappointed your expectation" said Reginald while fixing a stare on the female assassin.

"not at all, in fact I can say you haven't even done enough, you've still got a lot of work to do." he said with a wide smile leaving everyone in the room dumbstruck.

He looked at everyone in the room and continued "I'm sure you already know this, but those alien races had access to the game by threatening my boss with war and if there's something my boss hates its a threat, so their entry into the tower was considered illegal from my point of view, they even had the guts to request for a headstart, that's why you never met them in the starting floors of the game, with so any loss or damage they come across is their doing, it has no concern with you all at all." he finished with a smirk.

Everyone had their mouth wide since what he literally meant was he doesn't care about the loss the races of the galactic alliance took and he can make a decision that might decide earth's future against the galactic alliance.

Just so you know, earth is still at the surface level with minimal success and achievement in the exploration of its own solar system.

It was not until a few years ago did they came across foreign races through some coincidences or else earthlings might still believe they are the only species in the nearby galaxies.

"anyways, the reason I called you here is to see the "Sinners' and gauge your progress as Lords and I'm glad you didn't disappoint me even though you've all got a lot to improve on and I'd like to tell you that the races of the galactic alliance are humanity's enemy, at least that's what I believe, however your leaders seems to have other ideas, so you'll have to be ready for the crisis to come, there's little I can do" he finished with a sigh while placing his empty teacup on the center table.

Silence pervaded the entire room as each of the youngsters was deep in thought until it was broken by James who hasn't said much from the beginning "so you're saying we are free to do what we like and you'll take responsibility for us?"

everyone looked to the man who started arranging the empty cups on the table expecting his reply

"of course anything that happens in the game is our responsibility, and i personally don't really care " he replied with a smile.

"Well its getting late I'd have to see you all out, got to put my little princess to bed" he said while flashing them a grin, it was obvious he was not going to answer anymore question or act the part of a guest.

Reluctantly they all stood up and made their way to the door, their stomach filled question and doubts about the whole conversation.

"be careful on your way as this city doesn't look favorably upon foreigners, especially with your identities and perhaps we'll meet again in the future in the Tower" the man said from behind with a fake friendly neighbor smile from behind while slamming his door shut.

"what do we do now, there's no way you all believe what he said right?" said the redhead Claudia, it's a surprise she didn't say a word since the entrance of the man into the except from when she was introducing herself.

"we'll have to go back to the hotel and contact Mr. Walter, he's the only one who can connect and verify the whole dots". said Yusuf while taking the lead out of the compound of the house.

Back in the house after closing the door and sitting on a sofa by the side, a matured feminine that doesn't whose voice doesn't lack in sensuality came from behind from the stairs leading upstairs: "are you sure you are ready to face those races from the outside again, I thought you made up your mind not to interfere in the affairs of Earth anymore" while making her way beside him and sitting on the armrest.

"I can't watch anymore as those idiots sell themselves as slaves to those races from the outside, that kid Walter gave me the idea that perhaps grooming a new batch of kids with talents and promise will turn the tide, after all at the end of the day my roots are still from this planet" replied the man while making a tired expression.

"those kids have outdone themselves, they remind me of my youth when I taught those idiots races how to respect their elders" the man continued with a proud smile on his lips, it seemed he really believed that all he did was teach.

"respect my foot!", the woman said while rolling her eyes at the shameless words the man spoke "i still can't believe you kidnapped the Elven crown princess and sold her to the Dwarven mountains to work as a maid, Gruda's expression when he later found out was hilarious".

"it was her honor to come across me, I still don't understand what makes those elves behave as if they can look down on everyone else, they're so weak I believe those ant races have more potential than they do" said the man with clear disdain.

"that reminds me where, where's my little princess?"

"she's in her room, I bet she's still up waiting for you" the woman said with a smile of affection on her face.

"I'd better put my baby to sleep then" the man said while standing up and walking upstairs.

"my little bunny, are you asleep yet?" the man said while opening the door to a room colored pink throughout with a bed in the middle covered in pink bedding.

"Papa, who are those people who came?" said a cute little four years old girl hugging a teddy bear, while staring at the man with her big eyes.

"they're the heroes who might carry the fate of earth on their shoulders" the man said with a sincere smile on his face.

"tell me about them papa"

"its late already, I'll tell you about them tomorrow"

"there's still a lot of time, tell me now" the little kids definitely won't take a no for an answer.

"alright, alright, where do I start?"

"from the beginning!"

"Okay, so few years ago..."
