Chapter 5 - 4 | Unknown Boy

The following day,

Sora had a high fever when Ciel came to visit, Ciel suggested that he would take care of her but she continuously refused because she didn't want him to catch her fever, so he eventually gave up. "If you feel bad, call me out. "

And, he reluctantly left.

Her body was like it was on fire, her eyes burning, getting blurry, body sweating and aching.

She kept crying because of the pain but didn't call out Ciel once. Barely being awake with her nauseousness, her eyes were kept shut weakly. Just then, she felt a cool hand on her forehead, as if checking her fever.

She struggled to see his face, "Ci...el don't.. come near... me."

She coughed out. The figure didn't obey, it started stroking her hair, tenderly.

She felt cool, better than she was as if he put a magic spell on her. She slowly but surely realized that it wasn't Ciel because his hands have always been warm. Despite knowing it, Sora didn't fight back or try to call for help because she didn't sense any sign of danger. Her mind became hazy from the comfortable sensation and she eventually drifted off to sleep.

The last thing she could hear was,

"Fake." It didn't seem to be talking about her, so she didn't pay much attention to it. She felt the fever go down and she fell in a deep slumber.

::

Sora felt a hand on her forehead again but this time, a warm one. Her eyelids flutter open like butterfly wings. "Ciel..."

Her mouth curved into a smile.

"Good morning. " He beamed.

"Your fever has gone down as if it was never there! Thank god, you look better."

"Ciel, were you here yesterday? After you left, did you come back again? "

She asked.

"Yeah, I did. I was worried so after an hour or so, I came back because I figured you'd be asleep. It's surprising that you sensed me here. " Ciel stated.

"But, that's not... " Sora mumbled quiet as a mouse. Ciel seemed to be confused but for a second he had a mysterious dark face.

"Anyways! Ta-da~ " He brought out a whole ass guitar. "..."

Typical Ciel.

::

Ciel had left a while ago.

Sora was day dreaming about that mysterious boy. "It wasn't Ciel and it wasn't a dream either. And I am pretty sure it was a boy, somehow I felt a nostalgic feeling from him. " She said.

She closed the curtains and was getting ready to go to bed, just when she was about to turn the lights off, she saw a silhouette of a man. "KYAAHH!!- "

The boy blocked her voice by wrapping his hand around her mouth. "Shut up."

Huh?

HUH?

"I am not going to hurt you."

He let go of her mouth,

"I know, I was just a bit... startled. "

"..."

Sora turned her face to him,

he had black hair faded into a dull blue colour and cold silver eyes with a shade of blue. He had delicate glass like flawless skin and long thin fingers like tree branches. He looked or was nothing like Ciel, a total opposite of him.

"But,

who are you? " Sora questioned.

"I think you know me the best. "

"What? "

"I am Cedric, Cedric Scott. " He stated.

"Do you know me? " She asked.

"...No, but I want to " It was more like a question than an answer.

"Eh? "

He gave a big sigh, "I was curious about why someone was wandering around in the no entry room of the hospital. "

"Oh, but I am not wandering around, this is my room. " Sora replied confidentially.

"Is that so? "

"Yeah, mister... are you perhaps a patient here by any chance? " She asked.

"Kind of, yeah. " He stated boldly.

"What... What do you want? "

"What? "

"What do you want from me? "

"You. "

Cedric stared right at the soul of Sora, his stare piercing her chest.

"..."

She felt a burning sensation on her chest. "Excuse me, wha- "

The door slammed open as Ciel barged in, "Sora! " he rushed up to her.

"Are you okay? I heard some other voice here. " He desperately searched for somebody. Sora also looked around but he, Cedric was already long gone just when Ciel had barged in.

"N-No one was here, I was just talking in different voices with my sunflower. " She struggled to lie, obviously because she wasn't used to lying. So she plastered a smile on her face. Ciel obviously didn't believe her but let it go, pushing it aside.

"I returned... for my key here, have you seen it? " He asked.

"Key? Dunno, but I think I did see something silvery sparkly under the carpet. " She answered.

"Ah, there it is!"

Ciel got the key and thanked her, saying goodnight he went away leaving Sora with herself. "..."

"Was it an illusion? "
